TERTIARY PARTNERSHIPS
Learning Consent partners with universities and other tertiary education institutions to offer comprehensive consent education programs for students and staff. These programs include self-paced online learning, facilitated workshops for students, and professional development seminars for staff.
Evidence demonstrates that a best practice approach is a whole-of-insitution approach, ensuring that staff and students are all engaged. A Learning Consent Tertiary Partnership includes the following:
Expert training and ongoing support for staff
Facilitated student workshops
Online self-paced courses for new students and staff
Longitudinal program monitoring and evaluation
At Learning Consent, we understand that each educational institution has unique characteristics and requirements when it comes to the delivery of a program like ours, so we don’t offer a ‘one size fits all’ product. Our programs are tailored to suit each institution and the training is developed to address university-specific contexts, including residential colleges and internal services for responding to and reporting sexual violence.
As a provider of comprehensive sexuality education, we deliver world-class consent education programs that are aligned with international best-practice. Our tertiary offerings are designed in alignment with UNESCO’s International Technical Guidance for Sexuality Education. The Guidance presents the evidence base for delivering comprehensive sexuality education within a framework of human rights and gender equality.
